Symetal was granted a Gold ranking for its participation in the Business IT Excellence (BITE) Awards 2015, in July. Its winning entry had the title: “Advanced Planning and Scheduling for Symetal of the Viohalco companies””

The company participated in the category of organizations that have recently implemented projects or initiatives in the fields of IT (Information Technology) and communications, applications, infrastructures and services as well as best management practices that support the company’s business strategy. According to the average of their marks, candidates received a Bronze, Silver or Gold award.

 

Evaluation criteria included project innovation, significance for the sector, benefits for the company and its  customers, project methodology, implementation and utilization approach. The evaluation committee included representatives from the Athens University of Economics and Business, the Federation of Hellenic ICT Enterprises, the Hellenic Management Association, the IT Service Management Forum, the British Computer Society, the Project Management Institute, the Hellenic Professional Informatics Society and others.
