Symetal supports the “in Action SDGs Week” 2021

Symetal supports the in Action SDGs Week 2021 (September 17th - October 8th), the Greek Action Week for the Global Goals, in an effort to join its voice with millions of organizations and citizens and take action to create a better world.

During the “in Action SDGs Week”, which is part of the United Nations World Mobilization Week for the SDGs, civil society, business, academia, institutions, local government, and the school community are invited to a coordinated effort and cooperation, to accelerate the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals express the current global challenges to the creation of a better world. A world that, through the principles of sustainable development, will provide for the needs of current and future generations.

We should all articulate a single strong voice, share ideas and transformational solutions, and work together to show that there is hope in the post-covid era, claiming a healthy, fair and green recovery, counting down to 2030.

About “in action for a better world” initiative:
The in action for a better world initiative is a holistic approach to promote the 17 Global Sustainable Development Goals within Greek society, aspiring for the active participation of responsible organisations and active citizens, and the adoption of practices that improve the quality of our life.
