Since its initial assessment in 2015, Symetal has been continuously receiving Gold Sustainability Rating from EcoVadis - the world’s most trusted Business Sustainability Ratings provider. In July 2022, Symetal achieved Platinum Sustainability Rating, which is the highest distinction awarded from EcoVadis, placing the company among the top 1% of all companies rated by EcoVadis in this industry (“Manufacture of basic precious and other non-ferrous metals”), with a score of 77 out of 100.

The objective of the EcoVadis methodology is to measure the quality of a company’s sustainability management system through its policies, actions and results. The assessment focuses on sustainability criteria that are grouped into four themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. These criteria are based on international sustainability standards, including the UN Global Compact, the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and the ISO 26000.
